One thing all the Home Zones schemes have in common is local resident support. The active support of the community is of foremost importance in the success of any scheme.

However, resident support is not enough to get you up and running. For this you need the committed support of your local authority, planning department and arguably most importantly the highways department.

The drive for the project must come from the community but the scheme will not get far without official support.
